This activity is coordinated by Smascherati, as it focuses specifically on the theatrical methodology and involves organizing theatrical training sessions for teachers and students from the three schools in the partnership.
How does it work?
Activity A3 consists of four phases:
Creation of the methodology:
Smascherati develops a set of exercises and themes to form the basis for theatrical improvisations and scenic games to be proposed to the schools. Read it HERE
Three workshops:
Smascherati conducts one-week workshops in Portugal, the Czech Republic, and Italy. Each workshop involves at least 20–30 students and 5 teachers from each school. Additionally, 2 students and 1 teacher from Itis Volta will accompany Smascherati trainers to meet the partners and initiate cooperation.
Local workshops:
After receiving training from Smascherati, each school continues the activities locally to create a short flash performance, which will be presented publicly and recorded.
Flash performances:
Schools in the three partnership countries will organize public demonstrations of the student-created performances focused on climate change.
Results:
1 theatrical methodology created and tested to give YOUTH a voice on climate change perspectives.
60–90 students involved in the workshops with Smascherati.
60 students participating in local workshops and flash performances.
15 teachers trained and involved in the theatrical methodology.
3 flash performances created by students.
